Health Checking Your Dog At Home

Whenever you visit Hashtag Dog for dog grooming, we will always carry out a health check. This is for a number of reasons, firstly to ensure your dog is fit and well enough to undergo a dog groom, but we

also play a part in your dog's welfare and anything we may notice, we will advise you of.

You can carry out health checking at home as part of your weekly dog care routine. Here is a video demonstrating how to complete a nose to tail health assessment of your dog using a systematic method, so you don't miss anything out. The checklist is also a handy tool to tick off as you go.

Please note, the video was developed by me as a Registered Veterinary Nurse for teaching first year veterinary nursing students, so is rather in depth. However, you may find the commentary useful and learn some new knowledge :)
